Credits are digital content delivered to your account immediately, so purchases are, as a
general rule, final. This policy explains the specific situations in which we will refund
you, and preserves the rights you have under South African consumer law.
You buy credits — digital content delivered immediately to your account.
1 credit = 1 Slip (one AI-generated analytical report). Because credits are
digital and delivered at once, all purchases are final, except for the
situations below and any rights you have under applicable law.
2. Refunds we will always consider
Contact us and we’ll put these right:
You were charged but did not receive your credits (payment succeeded but
credits were not added to your account).
Duplicate or incorrect charge (e.g. billed twice for one purchase, or
charged the wrong amount).
A credit was consumed but the Slip failed to generate due to our error,
and the credit was not automatically returned. (Our system normally auto-releases credits
for failed generations; this covers the rare case where it doesn’t.)
An unauthorised transaction you report promptly, subject to verification.
Where a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law (see §5).
3. What is non-refundable
Because predictions are analytical content, not a wager, the following are not refundable:
Credits you have already used (Slips successfully generated) — the service
was delivered.
Dissatisfaction with a prediction or its outcome. Predictions are
probabilistic and are not guarantees; a losing or disappointing outcome is not a defect.
Unused, unexpired purchased credits. All completed purchases are final;
unused credits are not refundable except where required by law. They remain usable until
their 90-day expiry.
Expired credits (purchased credits expire 90 days after purchase).
Bonus, referral, and promotional credits — these have no cash value.
Change of mind after digital delivery has begun or a credit has been used,
to the extent the law allows this for immediately-delivered digital content (see
Cancellation Policy and Terms §8).
4. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under mandatory
consumer-protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 and the electronic-
transactions law of South Africa. Where those rights apply, they take precedence over §3.
5. How refunds are made
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, via our
payment provider Ozow (funded from our Ozow merchant float), in the
original currency (ZAR).
Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or processor.
If we refund credits already added to your balance, we will remove the corresponding
credits as part of the refund.
Refunds and any related tax adjustments are handled in accordance with South African
Revenue Service (SARS) requirements.
